EVRE Team & EVRE Field
Privacy policy
Last Updated: 25 September 2026
EVRE Field and EVRE Team are EVRE's apps for the people who work with us. They are operated by Amplify Cleantech Solutions Private Limited ("EVRE", "we", "us"). This policy explains what the two apps collect, why, who sees it and what you can do about it.
What it covers
EVRE Field: the Android app EVRE engineers and our authorised service partners use for installation, commissioning and service work on EVRE chargers, and for their travel and expenses.
EVRE Team: the web app EVRE employees use for their employment record, leave, attendance, payslips, tax declarations and expense claims.
Neither app is for the public, and you cannot create an account in either. EVRE sets up every account, and only people EVRE has added can sign in. If you charge a vehicle with EVRE, the EVRE One privacy policy at www.evre.in/privacy-policy applies to that instead.
How you sign in
EVRE employees sign in with their evre.in Google account. We receive your name and email address from Google, and nothing else from your Google account.
Service partners sign in to EVRE Field with the mobile number EVRE registered for them and a one-time code sent by SMS.
What EVRE Field collects
Photos and videos you take on a job, through the app's own camera. A video records sound so the problem can be heard. The app does not read your phone's gallery or any photo you did not take in it.
Your location at two moments only: when you take a job photo, so it is stamped with where it was taken, and when you start and end a trip, so the distance can be claimed. The app does not track you in the background and does not record the route in between.
Your work on each job: status updates, meter and electrical readings, checklists, charger settings you change and notes you write.
Travel and expense claims, with the receipts you photograph, so they can be approved and reimbursed.
Your phone's model and a notification token, if you allow notifications, so a new job can reach you. The token identifies the phone, not you.
Crash reports, if the app stops unexpectedly: the error, the screen, the app version and your phone's operating system version. They carry nothing you have typed, and are deleted after 90 days.
When the app connects to a charger's own Wi-Fi on site, it talks only to that charger.
What EVRE Team collects
Your employment record: employee code, the EVRE company you work for, designation, department, work location, date of joining and, when it happens, date of leaving.
What we need to pay you and meet the law: salary structure, PAN, UAN, ESIC number, bank name, account and IFSC, attendance, leave, and the tax declarations and proofs you submit.
Payslips, tax forms and letters we issue to you.
Joining and exit documents, such as identity and address proofs, education certificates and relieving letters. These are stored as files on EVRE's company Google Drive, not in the app's database, and every time somebody opens one it is recorded, with who and when.
Expense claims and their receipts, and who approved them.
What neither app collects
Your contacts, your phone's gallery, your location in the background, your browsing, or an advertising identifier. We do not track you across other apps or websites, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your data to anybody.
Why we use it
To assign and record field work, to keep each charger's service history, to pay you correctly and on time, to reimburse your expenses, to meet our obligations under tax, provident fund, ESI, professional tax and labour law, and to keep the apps working and secure.
Who sees it
Inside EVRE, only the people whose job needs it. Your manager sees your leave and claims; HR and payroll see your employment and pay records; the service desk sees field jobs. Access is set per role, and changes staff make are recorded in an internal log.
Customers see the job record and photos for work on their own chargers, and nothing else about you except your name on that job.
Google, who provides sign-in, notifications and the Google Drive where employee documents are stored.
Our SMS provider, which receives a service partner's mobile number to send the sign-in code.
Amazon Web Services, who host our servers.
Banks and government bodies, as the law requires: your bank for salary and reimbursements, and the Income Tax Department, EPFO, ESIC and state professional tax authorities for the returns and payments we must file.
Nobody else, and nothing is shared for advertising.
Where it is kept
On servers in India, in Amazon Web Services' Mumbai region, and on EVRE's company Google Drive. Data is sent over encrypted connections.
How long we keep it
Pay, tax, provident fund and ESI records, and expense claims, for as long as tax, labour and company law requires, which is several years after the year they relate to.
Joining and exit documents for as long as the law requires after you leave, and then deleted.
Job photos, videos and work records stay with the charger's service history for as long as the charger is under warranty or maintenance, because that is what a later fault is checked against.
Crash reports, 90 days.
When you stop working with EVRE, your sign-in is switched off at once.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete what we are not required by law to keep. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Neither app is for anybody under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change affects what we collect or who sees it.
